The present study was to assess the level of knowledge regarding risk factors and prevention of Cardiac disease among adults age group between 35-55yrs in selected community area. A quantitative research approach and Descriptive research design was adapted in this study In 60 cardiac disease clients among adults age group by using convenient sampling technique. A self-structured questionnaire method was used. The study Results shows Majority of the adults with non-cardiac disease, 22(36.7%) were aged between 46 – 55 years, 30(50%) were male and female respectively, 32(53.3%) were literate, 24(40%) were moderate worker, 25(41.7%) belonged to middle class family, 22(36.7%) were living in rural area, 40(66.7%) had the illness for 0 – 5 years and 32(53.3%) had regular treatment. Conclusion: The study findings reveals that the level of knowledge regarding risk factors and prevention of cardiac disease among adults with in non-cardiac disease. Most of them had moderately adequate knowledge regarding risk factors and prevention of cardiac disease among adults with in non-cardiac disease.
